Crow Point Yoga

Melanie Burns
Melanie Burns is a bodyworker, anatomy teacher, and trainer of yoga teachers who combines her backgrounds in psychology and anatomy to bring awareness to "body blind spots”—inviting and awakening healing in long-held patterns of physical, mental, and emotional tension and trauma. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clark University, and is a graduate of Tom Myers’ highly acclaimed Anatomy Trains Structural Integration program. Melanie offers structural integration sessions, leads workshops on the polyvagal theory, yin yoga and myofascial training, and runs Yoga Alliance–approved teacher trainings in studios and in the Maine State Prison.
